The Catholic Schools Week celebrations are in full swing at Our Lady of the Rosary Primary, St Mary’s. Primary and infants students came together on Monday to launch the week with an outdoor liturgy, which officially welcomed the new Kindergarten students to the school. School leaders presented the young students with a piece of a jigsaw puzzle with the words “Together as one, welcome to 2007.” Fr Bob Bossini, Parish Priest and members of the schools and parish community joined the celebrations, which showcased the theme of Catholic Schools Week, “Learning in Action”. Continuing the week of activities, Tuesday morning saw Wesbus bring its brand new fleet bus to the school for students to explore. The bus driver was on hand to answer questions about the bus and give advice about safe bus travel and two lucky classes were rewarded with a free bus ride.
